FaithWalkers
What is
Faithwalkers
Faithwalkers is a homeschool co-op that meets weekly with the intent of providing academic and social experiences for homeschooled children. Parents remain in the building and participate in teaching opportunities in various classrooms. Children are divided by grades and are able to learn in a classroom setting with their peers. Faithwalkers also provides time for fun and socialization. We also host special activities, parties, and other educational opportunities throughout the school year.
We also focus on teaching our participants the Biblical truths that we value as a church ministry.
Who is
Faithwalkers for?
Our Faithwalkers program welcomes school age children in kindergarten through high school. We also provide a nursery, toddler, and pre-k programs for siblings of participating school age children.
We welcome families of many faiths, who join with the understanding that our teaching will focus on the Biblical principles of our church’s statement of faith. As parents who are required to take part in cooperative teaching, you must agree not to teach anything contradictory to our statement of faith. All curriculums are approved by our Faithwalkers board.
When does
Faithwalkers meet?
Faithwalkers meets once a week during the school year, usually mid September through early May.
We meet every Friday from 9am-12pm, with the exception of some holidays and school vacations.
Our schedule is set by early August and informational meetings are scheduled once or twice throughout the summer.
We host at least one open house during the school year for potential new participants to try out our program for the next year, depending on availability.

Our Purpose
Faithwalkers is a ministry that started in 2001 for homeschooling families partnering together in a teaching co-op committed to the educational, spiritual, and moral development of our children.
Foundational Scripture
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and your gates.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9
