Children's/Junior Church Children's Church--We thank God for the many teachers and assistants who serve in the Children's Church ministry. Lend a Hand Ministry We serve at Pleasant Street Baptist Church soup kitchen every other month and also provide a worship team. Ministry to Seniors Charlton Baptist Seniors is a ministry for the seniors of our church and also an outreach to our community. Through visits , phone calls, notes and cards we can reach our seniors that are in need of spiritual encouragement. Fellowship to the lonely. Hope and encouragement thru prayer and devotions. 1Thes 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. We need volunteers for visits and phone calls. Men and women , if you are 18 yrs and older and wants to minister to our seniors that can’t get to church because they may be shut in or have no transportation, this is a wonderful out reach ministry. In 1 Peter 4:11 it reads : If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
