Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
Fall 2011 Meeting Schedule (3rdWeds. Of the Month):
September 21, October 20, November 17, and December 15.
Looking for encouragement as you raise preschoolers? Interested in exchanging ideas with other moms? Need a break from the never-ending, but fulfilling, role of mothering? Then, Charlton Baptist MOPS is for you!
The Charlton Baptist MOPS chapter was formed in the fall of 2005 to meet the needs of mothers of preschoolers in Charlton and surrounding towns like Auburn, Sturbridge and Oxford. Moms meet once a month for two hours to hear a speaker on a timely topic, complete a craft project and enjoy discussion and refreshments….all without in interruption from their infant/preschooler! Loving adults care for infant/preschoolers during the two hour meetings, filling the time with games, craft projects, music, snacks and a devotional.
The Charlton Baptist MOPS is a chartering ministry of MOPS International who “exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a women, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.” For more info, go to www.mops.org
The Charlton Baptist MOPS chapter meets from 9 to 11 a.m. the third Wednesday of every month at the church, located at 50 Hammond Hill Road, Charlton. Moms must join MOPS International (annual membership $24.95). By joining, you get weekly encouraging emails, a bimonthly MomSense magazine, and book.
