Men's Ministry

The goal of our ministry is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to develop disciples in His name.  There are several ways to be involved with the Men’s Ministry:

Small Groups:  These are generally set up according to the schedules of those who attend and change from time to time.  Currently, there are groups Wednesday mornings and evenings.  The morning group does topical discussions and ends by 7:15 AM so men may get to work.  The evening group is generally studying a book of the Bible, with some exceptions, starting at 7:00 PM, giving men time to get home and have dinner.  There are also several co-ed groups within the church if men prefer that type of setting.

Mens' Breakfasts:  Once a month we prepare a variety of food, including heart-healthy choices, and follow that with a large group topical discussion.  We allow ample time for fellowship and learning.  We meet on the second Saturday of each month, 7:30 – 9:00 AM.

Men's Basketball:  During the colder months, we host Wednesday night pick-up games starting at 6:30 PM.

Other Opportunities:  The Celebrate Recovery ministry has a men’s support group.  We also participate in area Men’s Conferences, such as Iron Sharpens Iron, a one-day conference for all ages of men.  During warmer months, we look for men who are willing to help people in need, ranging from cutting wood to painting to plumbing or other repairs.
